Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu,
Check in to your Hotel (Yak and Yeti) right in the centre of the town, just off Thamel. It’s easy to get all the important sights in Kathmandu valley.

Day 02: Temple tour in Kathmandu,
Today after breakfast, we start a guided tour to visit three different temples of Kathmandu valley, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath and Swayambhunath. The Pashupatinath is the most important Hindu temple in the country along with the Aryaghat or Funeral Site near the Bagmati River. The Buddhists shrine of Boudhanath is one of the largest Stupas in the world, and one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage site and popular tourist destinations in Kathmandu. Swayambhunath meaning the "the self-existent" is one of the oldest Buddhist Stupas in the world. The stupa is also famous for being on the hilltop and is popular among the foreigners as the “Monkey Temple” owing to the large number of monkey population residing in the area.

Day 03: Patan Durbar Square and Bungmati, Khokana village Tour,
Today we visit Patan Durbar Square a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Patan is also known as the City of Fine Arts. Patan Durbar Square is one of the places in the Kathmandu Valley where the medieval arts and architecture remain in its original state. The Durbar Square is full of ancient places, temples and shrines, noted for their exquisite carvings, mostly the Hindu and Buddhist monuments.
After lunch, you will drive to the typical Newari villages of Bungmati and Khokana lies about 6 kilometers south of Patan and just outside the main city centre. According to the Legend Bungmati was founded in 7th century. Bungmati is a home for the temple of Machhindranath, the God of rain and compassion, worshipped equally by Hindus and Buddhists. Afterwards you’ll do 20 minutes walking to the village of Khokana which is famous for its mustard oil, they still make in a traditional way which is still very popular in Kathmandu valley.

Day 04: Fly to Nepalgunj and drive to Bardia National Park,
We take an hour's flight from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj in Western Nepal, the nearest airport from the Bardia National Park. Nepalgunj itself is an interesting town in Terai region of Nepal with influences from the middle hills as well as local Hindu and Muslim cultures. The Bardia National Park is 90 kilometers far from Nepalgunj and a 2 hours' drive. Reaching Bardia, you will be transferred to your cottage room inside the National Park. There will be a briefing about the program at the National Park. In the evening, you join an ethnic Tharu village tour nearby, believed to be original inhabitants of the local jungle area.

Day 05: Full day jungle activities in Bardia National Park,
After breakfast we embark for a Jungle drive deep into the woods. The Bardia jungle is home to a number of wild animals including Asian Elephant, Great One Horn Rhinoceros, Spotted Deer or Chital, Hog Deer, Barking Deer, Samber, Swamp Deer or Barasingha, Nilgai, Black Buck, Wild Boar, Royal Bengal Tiger, Leopard, Golden Jackal, and Striped Hyena, etc. Afterwards you will visit crocodile breeding centre and the Tharu Museum. There are also towers (Machan) at different places where you can wait for the unsuspecting wild lives to pass by so that you may shoot them (of course with your camera!). Our experienced nature guide would help you in tracking the wild life.

Day 06: Nature walk and Elephant back Safari,
We have another full day for the wildlife exploration. In the morning, we go for a jungle walk, which would also serve the purpose of bird watching. An interesting feature of today's activities is the elephant back Safari into the deep and dense jungle. Apart from the fun, another benefit of elephant ride into the jungle is that there is a better chance of seeing wild animals from shorter distance, since the wild animals are less scared when you're on the top of their mammoth friend. Moreover, riding the elephant also saves you from any potential attacks by the wild animals. The elephants usually head northwest and you may see deer, langur monkeys, rhinos and wild boar. In the evening, watch the local cultural program and western Nepal Tharu dance organized by the villagers.

Day 07: Drive to Nepalgunj and fly back to Kathmandu,
Today after breakfast we drive back to Nepalgunj to catch the flight to Kathmandu. Depending on the flight time, we can spend some time visiting nearby villages. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to Hotel Yak and Yeti or a similar category hotel. You can spend the evening leisurely, perhaps catch up on some last minute shopping or strolling around in the streets of hustling bustling Kathmandu valley.

Day 08: Depart Kathmandu,
The trip ends after breakfast. You will be transferred to the airport for the flight back home.
